Anas Aremeyaw Anas uses anonymity as a working method, appearing in public only behind a beaded curtain. His investigations cover human rights and corruption in Ghana and across sub-Saharan Africa.
He has been named Ghana's Journalist of the Year and Investigative Journalist of the Year twice in succession, won three international awards for his trafficking reporting in 2008, the US State Department Hero Award on trafficking, and the Kurt Schork Award in International Journalism. Foreign Policy named him one of 2015's leading global thinkers.
