Structure of the Commission
The structure of the Commission as outlined in the Act 479 comprises the Commission and the Secretariat of the Commission. The Commission is made up of nominated and ex-officio members who are responsible to the President of the Republic of Ghana.
The Secretariat consists of professional/technical staff and has been organised into Divisions under the administrative and professional leadership of a Director-General who is also a member of the Commission.
The Commission has executive authority for the efficient organization and management of NDPC. This authority is exercised through the Director-General of the Commission, who is responsible for the overall organization and management of administrative and professional functions of the Secretariat, subject to the general direction of the Commission.
The Commission currently has four divisions comprising development-policy, plan-co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation and administration. Each of these divisions is headed by a director.
